Pixel 8 Rumors: Everything That You Need to Know About This Phone
The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are approaching. We can reasonably anticipate a new lineup of flagship Pixels each year because Google has settled into a rather consistent release rhythm for Pixel phones. In this blog post, we'll go over everything you need to know about the Google Pixel 8.
Design
The Pixel 8 Pro's general design will mostly not change from the Pixel 7 Pro's. Google seems to be favoring rounded edges once more, this time with even more rounded corners and a little larger profile than before.
A dual-tone design with glass on both sides and a metal frame that reaches the camera bar strip on the back of the gadget are some things we may anticipate. But, at least in terms of how the lenses are housed, the camera bar does seem to have changed.
Display
The Pixel 8 will have a 2,268 x 1,080 screen, while the Pixel 8 Pro will have a 2,822 x 1,344 screen, according to WinFuture. In comparison to the 1440p displays on the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro, the latter resolution is marginally lower.
Camera
The Pixel 8 series might be able to use staggered HDR. This technology is not supported by the Isocell GN1 main camera found on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 families, but it is supported by the more recent Isocell GN2 sensor. Therefore it appears that our main sensor might be improved.
The camera bar should include a high-resolution primary camera, an ultrawide camera, and a telephoto lens in the periscope format, just like most modern smartphones. Another round cutout is visible beneath the LED flash in the leak, although it's unclear what it might be.

Battery
The Pixel 8 standard will likely keep its 4,300mAh or larger battery, while the Pixel 8 Pro may keep its 5,000mAh battery. Regarding charging speeds, we fervently hope to see a noticeable decrease in charging times.
Performance
The upcoming Tensor processor for the Pixel 8 series, code-named "Zuma," was first announced by WinFuture. Our own leaked Google Pixel roadmap verified this.
The specifications and capabilities of the Tensor G3 are unknown, but we certainly hope Google upgrades to more recent CPU cores as the Tensor G2 is still generations behind the most recent ARM cores.
Also, the WinFuture leak indicated that the normal Pixel 8 will have 8GB of RAM and the Pixel 8 Pro would have 12GB of RAM.
Price
The pricing for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro is not firmly established. But, the Pixel 7 starts at $599, and the Pixel 7 Pro prices at $899, so we think the prices for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will be comparable.
Release Date
By the fall of 2023, most likely in September or October, we should see the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro based on past Pixel launches.
Conclusion
It's possible that the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are two of the best smartphones the company has ever produced. But, we're interested in how Google can enhance them with the Pixel 8 series. Although expectations are great, only time will tell.
