But much as we enjoy picking over the tech specs to an obsessively over-the-top degree, sometimes it’s nice to think solely about more superficial topics. Today, we thought we’d explore protective cases, and specifically hone in on the Google Pixel 10 Pro.

In isolation, that doesn’t sound too bad. But when you consider that that figure is on top of the hundreds of dollars you’ll be spending on the phone itself, it’s understandable you might want to go for the cheaper option. 

We’d recommend keeping around $30 - $60 in your back pocket for a Pixel 10 Pro case. Yes, those cases with the $20 price tags might seem enticing, but they provide less protection in the long run. The extra expense can save you money in the long run.

Lastly, we can’t help but circle back to the point about looks. Even the most basic of Pixel 10 Pro cases will provide some degree of protection against scratches or knocks, so if you see a funky and colorful case, go for it.
