Google Pixel 10 Colors Leak: Choose Your Design
With an August 20 launch date set for the Made by Google event, the release of the Google Pixel 10 series is quickly approaching. The range includes four devices: the base model Pixel 10, two Pro models, and the 10 Pro Fold.
While we don’t yet have any concrete information, official renders accidentally released late in July confirm a variety of features we were already expecting. This includes an upgraded triple rear camera setup, featuring a new Telephoto lens for quality macro photography — capturing key details in close-up shots from far away.
Accompanied by a banner reading “Now available,” these leaked images showing the back of four Pixel phones in the Google Play Store app also revealed two colors. Combined with multiple other leaks and insider information, we now have an idea of the exciting array of colors that will be available for both the standard Pixel and Pro devices!
What Are the New Google Pixel 10 Colors?
The base model Pixel 10 will offer four colors to choose from. What’s great about this year’s range is that it features more striking paint jobs, with two muted shades for some variety.
Obsidian
As well as being a key color option for last year’s Google Pixel 9, Obsidian has been offered on many generations of Google pixel phones. The black shade is a sleek and stylish option, ideal for those who prefer their phones to maintain a classic, professional vibe.

Indigo
The leaked images accidentally shown on the Google Play store banner display three devices in a gray shade, plus another in a brighter royal blue.
Indigo is this year’s boldest color option for the Pixel 10, yet slightly lighter than the Blue Shadow option on Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Fold 7. It’s also the first time in a few years that Google has added a blue to its range, since the Really Blue option from the original Pixel phone in 2016.
Frost
As suggested by the name, Frost is an even lighter blue shade than Indigo. This color works as a great replacement for the popular Porcelain model seen in recent years, adding a cool-toned blue tinge that mixes up the options for Pixel fans.
Limoncello
If you’re looking for a slightly more unique choice that will make your phone pop, then Limoncello is the way to go. This new Google Pixel 10 option for the base model is a unique yellow-green color, which is much brighter than previous greens offered by Google — including the Pixel 9’s Wintergreen shade.
It’s thought that Limoncello will be a replacement for the current Pixel 9 Peony color, something that may be disappointing if you prefer pink shades.
Will the Pixel 10 Pro Models Feature the Same Colors?
Google and other smartphone manufacturers typically stick to classic neutrals when it comes to their premium handsets. For instance, the Pixel 9 Pro range featured more muted colors, including soft pink Roze Quartz and pale gray-green Hazel shades.
However, things look set to be slightly more exciting for both Pixel 10 Pro models!
Obsidian
Obsidian black is always a classic shade, which is why it appears on both the standard and Pro Pixel 10 models this year!
Porcelain
Porcelain is a familiar creamy white color that featured heavily across the entire Pixel 9 series. However, this year, it isn’t available on the base model and is instead exclusive to the Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL devices.
Moonstone
Three phones appear in the leaked renders showing a slate blue-gray color, which is believed to be called Moonstone. This year’s Google Pixel 10 featured color is also shown in recent images from famed leaker Evan Blass for both the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL.
Moonstone covers the entire phone apart from the glossy frame, which appears in a slightly lighter shade.
Jade
Another new color for this year’s Pixel Pro devices is Jade, a pale pistachio green shade with soft gold accents on the frame. Its light green hues are a mix of last year’s Hazel option and the Lemongrass color that debuted on the Pixel 7 series.

What About the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold?
Last year’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold came in just two colors: Porcelain (white) and Obsidian (Black). Along with being Google’s thinnest foldable Pixel phone yet, featuring a potentially upgraded 50 MP Main lens on the camera bar, the color options could be significantly switched up for 2025, too.
Moonstone and Jade are rumored for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, matching the hues for both Pro models. This means that while there isn’t as much choice as the other models, foldable Pixel fans should be able to enjoy some more exciting shades this year!
Other Rumored Google Pixel Design Features
Leaked renders from Evan Blass and other sources make it clear that most of the updates for the Google Pixel 10 series this year will be focused mainly on software and performance.
The base model should receive Google’s first fully in-house designed chip, the Tensor G5, and an 11 MP Telephoto camera, for instance. It could also feature built-in Qi2 magnets for faster wireless charging, as well as a bigger battery capacity! However, many of its design features are likely to stay the same.
The Pixel 10 will likely have the same rounded corners as its predecessor. A polished glass back could be made from Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2, a tough material built to survive drops on concrete surfaces from as high as 1 meter.
The leaked images also show an OLED display that looks a similar size to the Pixel 9’s 6.3-inch display, which should come with a 120Hz refresh rate.
But one potential design change we could be seeing is a redesigned camera bar. While the bar itself won’t become larger, the glass may be expanded to house the new Telephoto lens, alongside a 48 MP Main primary sensor and a 12 MP Ultra-Wide camera, too.
Final Thoughts
Although there aren’t any major design upgrades this year, the triple-lens rear camera system brings this year’s base Pixel 10 closer to the quality of the Pro models. These premium devices are also rumored to feature a variety of new color options to choose from!
We’ll find out for certain if these are the confirmed Pixel 10 shades on August 20, when all four Pixel phones are officially revealed. In the meantime, keep an eye out for more rumors and leaks — or design details accidentally revealed by Google itself!
